The Shining

Not just another weather app. This app lets you check the weather, whether you are a movie buff or just want a funny weather cast with a movie twist.

This is a project I made for my education in App design. The project was to create an app that solves an everyday need. I decided to create a movie themed weather app and to call it The shining. For every city and different weather, the user gets a weather cast with a movie twist. The app is created in React Native and uses API:s to collect weather prognosis. A challenge I faced was how to collect data from the API. I solved it by learning how to understand how different API:s work.
